Microblading
Phibrows
PhiBrows is a manual skill of semi-permanent eyebrow drawing where shape of the eyebrows are calculated according to facial symmetry/golden intersection (phi 1.618) and structure. The pigment is applied into the surface layer of the skin using sterilized tools and is chosen so that it matches the natural hair or eyebrows’ color.
Although microblading is actually a type of PMU, it is still a separate and a completely different skill. Compared to classical PMU, done with a machine, microblading provides the possibility to draw thinner hairs. For clients with very few natural hairs, manual technique can be combined with the machine in order to provide shading to improve brow fullness.
Initially, within the first 5 to 7 days, the brow color appears darker but will fade significantly over a two-week-period. Within 7 days later, the color loses 40 to 50% of its intensity. If you think the color is too dark, do not try to remove it yourself. Patiently wait 7 days for the color to fade on its own after the skin heals. Post-treatment care contributes to 70% of the treatment’s success. Follow the instructions provided, because if you don’t do so you may lose up to 80% of drawn strokes.
Touch up and correction are done a month after the treatment, because between 10 and 15% of drawn strokes disappear after the first treatment. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, because it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.
Color duration primarily depends on how oily the skin is. The oilier the skin, the shorter the color lasts. Sweating and sun exposure also reduce color fastness. On average, expected time until a new color refreshment is between 10 and 12 months. With oily skin it is up to 6 months. Refreshing the color is done once every 6 months to a year and a half, depending on skin type and quality.
Please note: Pain during the treatment is relative. Scared clients and clients who have their period usually feel stronger pain, while other clients compare the pain to that of eyebrow plucking. Once the brow shape has been created and the initial strokes established, topical anesthetic will be used to eliminate any additional pain or uncomfort.
The success of the treatment depends on:
-

All of these factors are out of the artist’s control, so any possibility to provide guarantees for the treatment is excluded.
Always have a consultation with the artist before the treatment if you:

Have problematic skin.

Take some medicines.

Existing old permanent make-up on your eyebrows.
The following treatments are not recommended 30 days before the treatment:
